This is a compatibility check between Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep using the Wejnan app. We discover how their personalities and compatibility compare to their dynamic in The Devil Wears Prada, and the issues they have to navigate as professional partners off-screen.

Pooja: I'm excited. I'm excited. Guess what? Devil Wears Prada 2!

Malay: So are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Pooja: Let's find out if in real life, Anne and Meryl's compatibility. Is it the same like it's on screen between their characters? Like, you know how on screen, they're kind of clashing. It's a love hate relationship. Right?

Malay: Yes. And, they no doubt have to collaborate a lot on set. So, yeah, I'm curious on what they're like in real life.

Pooja: Okay, let me pull that up. Okay, so good news for Anne and Meryl. Professionally, they make for a compelling team too, where, you know, Anne generates opportunities and makes bold moves, while Meryl stabilizes and systemizes things - kind of opposite to their characters.

Malay: I was just thinking about that. In their characters, it's Meryl who is planning, and Anne is the one who has to keep everything on track.

Pooja: Okay, but here's the deets on their friction areas. Their disagreements could emerge from different tempos. And here's again where their characters and their real life personalities are kind of reversed. You know, Anne wants quick pivots and is risk taking, whereas Meryl is more thoughtful and controlled in her execution.

Malay: So, the opposite. That must make for a fascinating scene on set because Anne is working in a very different way to what she then starts playing when she gets into character.

Pooja: Do you want to take a look at the recommendations?

Malay: Okay.

Professionally, this is so interesting. It's almost as if they have switched roles and Anne is the boss. Because it says here that Anne has to take up her role as a visionary or driver of new initiatives. But let Meryl lead on the process, the quality and follow through.

It also says that Anne should be the one who should be setting in a workspace, measurable KPIs - key performance indicators - and give Meryl the space to meet them. And she should be checking on progress, but make sure that neither ends up micromanaging.

Pooja: So weird. Like, literally their roles are reversed in real life.

Malay: And I have to give this much to Meryl: however she was as a boss, she wasn't a micromanager. She would set up deadlines that were impossible, but she didn't go telling Anne how to do that.

Pooja: I mean, I don't think any of us like a micromanaging boss.

Malay: And it shows in their scores, you know, because they are not a cosmic connection, but they're just one point away from being a cosmic connection. In real life, their affection score is pretty high. Their stability score is perfect. Their mentality score is average, which means they are pretty much all the way there.

Pooja: Which shows why they probably, in real life, have a really good chemistry. Okay Anne, guess the cool part. I mean, I love this personally.

Malay: What is that?

Pooja: Anne Hathaway and I share a birthday! So Anne, if you want to celebrate your birthday together, maybe DM me.
