This is a compatibility check between Milly Alcock a.k.a. Supergirl and David Corenswet a.k.a. Superman using the Wejnan app. We discover what their personalities and compatibility are as cousins, the issues they have to navigate… and wonder who their therapist could be!
Malay: Hey, I have a fun idea. You know the Supergirl movie? Why not check the compatibility between Supergirl and Superman?
Pooja: Do you know Superman's birthday?
Malay: Well, not in Krypton time. Actually, not in our time either. Well, what I mean is, why not check the compatibility between the actors who play Supergirl and Superman? Milly and David.
Pooja: Okay, that makes sense. Sure. Here you go. Why don't you check that out?
Malay: Okay, so that's a good start. The app says that Milly and David - actually Supergirl and Superman - that's what we're going to call them - Their affection score is a good three out of four, which means there is love between them. That's a good start. Their mentality, mindset (compatibility) is pretty low, which also actually is on point.
Their stability, however, is a four out of four, which is perfect. That's as high as you can go.
Pooja: But why is the low mentality on point?
Malay: Well, that's where the reality and fiction start to merge a little bit. And it's a little funny, but not that far off.
It says that Supergirl is steady, while Superman is the person who brings in that hard work, you know, and loyalty once they are attached. It also says that Supergirl is the one who brings in the calm, while Superman is the one who executes and protects.
So it's getting Superman somewhat right. But Supergirl is a little off the mark, I would say.
Pooja: Oh, okay, that's interesting. And what else does it say?
Malay: Supergirl simplifies choices and diffuses the drama, whereas, Superman brings in the energy, the seriousness and thoughtful determination.
You know what, Superman and David, if I may use his name here, they are pretty alike, actually, the more I'm reading this. But Supergirl and Milly, two very different people, according to this.
Now here's where the issues arise. Issues arise when Supergirl prioritizes what she sees as fair or right. And Superman may end up reading that as Supergirl taking sides against her family.
Pooja: Oh, let me see what else. So it says in the app that because they can hold on to past life and small family disagreements can ripple into long term coldness.
Malay: (laughs) That is so not like Superman!
Pooja: Got that right. But Superman should definitely check the Wejnan app if he wants to learn how to manage his relationship with Supergirl.
Malay: Nice cue.
Pooja: But here's one recommendation I'm willing to share with him today. He should mediate their languages. Like, you know, instead of using verdict language, they should go for mediation where they should not say things like this is right, that is wrong. Instead they could go with here are the facts.
Malay: (laughs) Imagine Superman and Supergirl in a mediation session, right? Yeah, that'll be cool.
Pooja: Hey, everybody needs help now.
Malay: You know what? Now I'm thinking, who could be the therapist? We need one of the Lanterns. Nope, wait… Batman.
Pooja: Oh, my God. I'm not sure that's gonna go down too well. But you know what? We'll see you in the next episode.
